Seneca Snakeroot

Description: This is the whole plant harvested in the Arkansas Ozark’s. There were enough scattered about to gather a few plants and smell and taste its sharp wintergreen odor. The plants are small but noticeable. They were in an occasionally cut field mixed with Echinacea purpurea and Hypericum prolificum along with others.
