Weed Orchid

Description: Wildcrafted roots. Epipactis helleborine is the only non-native ‘weedy’ orchid in the Northeast. It often grows along rural roadsides in rich woodland soils. It is not as picky as most Orchidaceae about where it grows. The roots are the parts used as medicine.
